Mazza Recycling is committed to recycling debris to its maximum potential, leaving less waste to landfill.  Single stream recycling, where all recyclables are mixed together in one collection bin, is one method of making recycling easier for our customers.

Single stream recyclables include:

  • Glass bottles and jars

  • Cereal and snack boxes

  • Cardboard

  • Office paper, newspaper, magazines

  • Tin, aluminum and steel cans

  • Plastic bottles

  • Rigid plastics

Commingled recycling is a process similar to single stream recycling, but customers have a separate collection bin for paper. This type of recycling allows recyclable processing facilities to eliminate the costly step which takes place in single stream recycling, utilizing expensive technology to remove the paper from the other plastic and metal recyclables.

Mazza Recycling recycles all paper grades, including cardboard and mixed paper.  Paper collected for recycling is sorted, graded, baled, and taken to a paper mill where it is processed into new paper.  Mazza Recycling provides compactor solutions for our commercial and industrial customers to minimize logistics costs and allows Mazza Recycling to pass cost savings to our customers.
