James F. Mazza, JR.

President & CEO

James Mazza Jr. is President and CEO of Mazza Recycling Services and Affiliates, a role he has held since June 2017. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer. James began working with the Mazza Recycling family of companies in 2007. He began his career in the demolition and recycling industry operating machinery and managing demolition jobs at the age of 15. During his tenure, Mazza Recycling has doubled revenues largely in part to the expansion of the company’s collection, single stream recycling, and wood recycling units. James spearheads the operations unit of the companies and directs strategic and tactical matters as they relate to facilities management and equipment management. Furthermore, he provides the strategic vision for the company, and is instrumental in fostering and cultivating the company’s business relationships.

Responsibilities

Purchased the assets of Mazza & Sons, Inc. in 2017. Revenue of $80 million in 2022. Developed new business and product lines. Developed business into a comprehensive recycling and collection company serving the residential, commercial, and municipal recycling needs of Monmouth, Ocean, and Middlesex counties. Started-up Class B Recycling and wholesale mulch company. Revenue of $14 million in 2022. Develops new business. Spearheads the operations unit of the company and directs strategic and tactical matters as they relate to facilities’ management.
